    Hugs and prayers. Those stroke symptoms can seem so minor, thank goodness DH didn't wait! He's a keeper (and it sounds like he wants to keep you too!)

    Early intervention definitely is the key. So glad you recognized your symptoms & got to the hosp. quickly. I hope things will be ok soon.

    I join all the others that are happy you & DH recognized the symptoms and got quickly to the hospital. Glad the after effect is minimal. And thanks for the mamo reminder, too.

    Plus thanks to MSN for her professional insight and explanation. tPA is a great first med to ward off the debilitation stroke effects.

    LOL! if you saw how s-l-o-w I've been typing you might not think my brain & fingers are working together. My left thumb & 1st 2 fingers almost decided to go out on their own but I can honestly say if I refuse to let cancer knock my on my keester a stroke sure isn't!!!!!! I AM A PINK WARRIOR & STROKE SURVIVOR!!! HEAR ME ROAR!!!

    So, now back to regulary scheduled quilting stuff.....
