Default Door Prize Sneak peek ;)

Just a little something to whet your appetite for things to come. This is one of the items that I am bringing for a door prize. A door prize for what? you ask. The Fall Forum Retreat. For those attending, we draw names each day and pretty much everyone gets to draw something from the prize table. The prizes are all donated by attendees and have been pretty amazing in the past. Quilts, bags, wallets, fabric bundles, notions and just all around goodies. I've brought home a cute little pillow with a sewing machine on it that Jean Sewing Machine made. Last year I got a woven fabric basket with a huge bag of Hershey's Miniatures inside that Dolores made. My hubby sure appreciated the contents (I got the dark chocolate)

There are still about 8 spots available if you are considering attending.

Here is my watermelon bag. Vinyl lined inside so that it can be wiped clean inside. I thought it would make a great picnic bag, carrying some of the food items that you want to keep cool, just stick a couple ice packs in the pockets.

Nope, that one has to stay a secret.

Super cute!! I have a pattern for one like that somewhere. The vinyl is a great idea.

Oh my - with everything going on with Steve's health I almost forgot! That bag will sure be handy and a great idea for a door prize, Karen. I better get focused.

Super bag, Karen. Wish I were attending. Would love to know which pattern you used. Thank you.
