Default What is your "go to" batting?

I recently read a blog about batting and really would like some expert or experienced input on which is the best one to use. I have always used Warm and Natural - just because others have recommended it. But after reading the blog and some posts I've seen on this forum, I'm thinking I need to branch out and try Quilter's Dream, Pellon, or Hobbs. Which is your personal favorite?
I'm working on a king size quilt that I just love, and when I get ready to LAQ, I want to use the right one. I know everyone has their own preference, but would love to hear what yours is and why. Thanks in advance.

My go-to is Hobbs 80/20 because it's available locally and it's a nice batting.

I love every type of batting made by Quilter's Dream. Try it for a special quilt, you'll love it. For everyday quilts or donation quilts, I like Hobbs 80/20. It has a nice drape and quilts up nicely. It is cheaper than Quilter's Dream. They sell it at Joann's. When I have a 60% off coupon, I try to buy a whole bolt of it. I still have some from the last bolt but I am watching my flyers...

I use warm and natural, always works up well and easy to quilt thru. I have tried others but always come back to warm and natural.

I want to try to Hobbs, but will have to check with the owner of the quilt shop where I rent the LAQ. She said her LA doesn't like some of the batting. Guess I will have to use whatever she recommends for her machine. This is the quilt I'm working on and really want it to look nice. Still have a few rows to go, but I'm loving it so far.

Hobbs 80/20. Warm & Natural is awful for hand quilting. Fatquartershop just came out last week with a new batting. I think it is called Cloud and made just for them. I will eventually check that out. It comes in poly or cotton or a mix. But you are right there are a gazillion types of batting out there. Hobbs wool is wonderful to quilt with but takes special laundering so it doesn't shrink and that could be a problem if it is a quilt you are gifting or donating

I have used Hobbs 80/20 for the past 7 yrs., but I'm currently trying Quilter's Dream Blend 70/30. Some of the well-known LA quilters use QDB. I'm considering switching. It is more expensive, however.
