    Default I'm going to cry!!!!!!!

I got all the way to putting the binding on the quilt after ripping a bunch of it out, sometimes several times. And I kept turning it over to make sure the back was looking okay. Finally it dawned on me, the backing is on wrong side out. I'M GOING TO CRY!!!!! Guess I will rip it out while we travel this next week.

Wrong side of fabric is used all the time in Hawaii on men's shirts. How about finishing it to donate? Enjoy your trip and relax

I have also used the wrong side of fabric when I wanted a more muted look. I would leave it.

I can't just leave it since it has all the seams and the ribbon trim is on the wrong side. This one was going to Terry for the Shriners.

Crud! Have you already quilted it???? I think I'd put another backing on it! Don't rip it all out.

Great idea and then just requilt over quilting already done or to the sides of stitches already there! I would much rather do that than rip all that out! and I'd be crying too!!

If you are daunted by ripping out those seams, I'll do it for you. I am really good at ripping out seams. Or wait to cool off and take fixing it up next year...there will be another Shriner's sale then. But I know it is hard.

Oh I know how you feel. I have been in that boat before, not a fun one.
