    Default Been Busy

Someday my scrap stash will be gone, but not yet. so in the meantime here are the next few. I can't remember or find the name of the one in the middle, 2nd row down. I'm sure someone here knows it.

    It's a Herringbone Quilt.
    Here's the tutorial

I made this into a lap quilt for an aunt of mine who is in a retirement home. I also made a couple pillows and the bag that hangs from her walker is the same quilt pattern. I found some peach color fabric with tiny blue / white flowers in it. My Aunt Eva loves anything Peach color. She had her bedroom done in Peaches and Creams long before it was an "in" thing years ago ( a close friend of mine chose this for her wedding colors, Peach & Cream. The guys in the wedding wore a dark tan tux with cream colored shirts and peach bow ties.....and Peach cumber bun for the groom and the ushers had a tan cumber bun ......Outside of my own beautiful first wedding in 1974 ( I chose pale mint green with peach & yellow. My bridesmaids dresses with a floral pattern of the colors on a cream background. My DH Terry wore his Army Dress uniform....it was really pretty.
