Default Update: words of the day-hair loss

I reported last week on the beginning of my hair falling out du to chemo. It's progressed to a lot more & I have to say "Wow"! I wouldn't consider myself to be vain at all & don't spend a lot of time in front of any mirror but I have to tell you hair loss can test the best of us. My DH says he'll love me if/when I lose all of my hair. Sometimes that helps sometimes not so much. Still, it's just another day in the battle with breast cancer. Going for 2nd chemo Friday & Monday a visit with my surgeon to discuss how extensive a surgery I'll have after chemo is over. Please continue thoughts & prayers for me & others going thru trials of their own.

God Bless our country & God Bless you all!

You will be beautiful with or without hair I'm sure! Buy some nice hats!! My gf is all through her chemo and on her 13th round of radiation. Her hair is finally starting to grow back and she looks amazing! I'm sure you will too!

Sending (((Hugs)))) I know it's hard though...I can't imagine actually. Hang in there! xox

Bless you. In my head, because thankfully it hasn't happened to me, the hair loss would be my biggest issue. I would probably start freaking out when it started falling out so would be tempted to just shave my head and get it over with. I know when my mom went through chemo she lost her hair. Her hat of choice was a baseball cap with Sylvester the cat on it.

One of my friends at church went through chemo a few years ago. When her hair started falling out, she just had it all cut off. She wore some really cut hats.
