i started this in alaska 2014 as a new quilter- finally finished

we were in alaska for hubby's last job before retirement, I took my new machine with me and ordered kansas troubles material and the loose change rulers- took me a long time to do this, but i had nothing but time... had it quilted last yr and finally hung it over the door way to my sewing studio in our newly built log cabin home.

i use my quilts as window coverings (over blinds) and for door ways (we have no one at home but the dogs) -hope the picture loads

Not only would they work as art, but also as weather guards and also for light darkening.....very clever. I love Kansas Trouble fabric....well, just about any fabric. Your quilt is awesome!

Ok I have her material, her books and the rulers. Did it take awhile because you were making two or because it was hard or tedious? Need to prepare myself so I don't start another putzy project as I already have 2 going. BTW your quilts are awesome.Great job.
