    Default How to Quilt

This is a stock photo from a Google. A year or so ago I bought this quilt kit from Connect Threads. I assembled it right away and then shoved it in a corner. This week I finally pulled out the top and got it all assembled and ready for quilting. But now I've hit another roadblock. How do I quilt this one? I can't decide and I dint see any suggestions on the pattern. Do any of you have ideas? I just have a basic Kenmore home machine with either a walking foot or I'm experimenting with free motion quilting on it so as long as I have a pattern I can do ok enough for a kid to not notice or care - lol. I've been trying to find outsert space themed stencils but Google is not helping.

I think I would do a spiral starting on one of the sides. I think I have a picture. I'll go look.

For outer space like stencils google space ships planets etc coloring pages or outlines. I use this method a lot to get basic shapes of things for quilting. My drawing ability is pre kindergarten level as I still draw stick figures LOL. This has helped me a lot.

I love the idea of doing spirals and they are easy. Like spinning around in space. Pretty quilt pattern.
