    Default 100% cotton batting

I'm looking for this for items that can be microwaved.

I did find some I ordered from Connecting Threads which was marked for use in microwaves. I see batting marked as cotton elsewhere but under content it mentions 12.5% polypropolene or polymer (Warm & Natural). Dream Cotten states their's is 100% cotton.

Do you have a favorite placeto purchase or type of cotton you use for microwave projects?

I've always been leary of using anything with a blend and as much as I love Quilters Dream, it is expensive. Many of the battings labeled as cotton are not always 100%

I use the Pellon Wrap N Zap, made specifically for microwave. You can get a small package of 36x45 for about $8. I don't usually see it in the stores, so I've ordered it from Amazon.

Wrap n Zap is available online from Joann's. I ordered 4 yards a couple years ago and they sent me 4, 10 yard bolts of it. They have it on sale quite often too.

I made a few of those cloth Potato Bakers and used the Wrap & Zap from Jo-Ann's and have had no complaints with it.

Thanks Karen. I just searched around and found some on Amazon on sale for $2 for the 45x36 packages. It's the cheapest I found so bought 3. The shipping was 5.98 so I think I made out well :-)
