Default Question about the beach ball tutorial

The photo of the quilt behind Jenny looks like the beach balls are much smaller than the one she is working on - She states that the strips are honey bun size (1&1/2 inch) - But then she uses a jelly roll to make the beach balls. Is that correct? It confused me a little bit.
I suppose you can make the beach balls any size you want but the finished quilt will have less beach balls if you use the jelly roll - correct?

Yes that's right. I think it looks bigger because it's filmed so close up.

I think she used the jelly roll to make the beach balls (blocks) and yardage for the white sashing in between the blocks. Then she said that if you wanted you could use honey buns for the sashing as they are 1&1/2" wide. But the amount they gave was yardage. Hope that makes sense.
