I just finished this for my father-in-law for Christmas. It's off to MSQC for quilting. Wasn't sure if I was going to like it until I added the borders. It turned out very well, I think.

Another quilt that is a great inspiration. Would have never thought of batiks in that colorway ... in that pattern ... for a man. It works really, really well.

thank you for posting your very pretty quilt. I have that pattern but couldn't visualize it in anything except the very strong colors Jenny used, which I wasn't fond of. Now that I can see it I really like it.

I had this pattern on my do list, but was never crazy about all of Jenny's black....I've thought of doing it with a lighter color, then wasn't so sure. And wow, love yours, it turned out beautiful! Love the colors and the pattern is even prettier the way you did it! Thanks so much for sharing...a super great inspiration!
