I liked it it's a keeper. I did goof though. I took a nap and slept way to long, not a cat nap - a panther nap. So it cooked an hr and half longer then it should of so it was a tad stringy.I slept a total of 4 hrs. But the flavor was still there :-) I'd definitely make it again.

You must have needed the rest. I've never heard the term panther nap. Thanks for letting me know how it turned out ... I was kind of hoping it would have been a dud. :-)

Thank you K McEuen for posting the link to the recipe for Grandma G's Crockpot Lasagna. I see that link is from May and June 2016, not sure how I missed it then but so very glad to see it now. Gonna try this week, heat is brutal here in Upstate SC these days.
Sounds wonderful and like everyone else less time cooking is more time sewing and quilting! I love those recipes that make a lot and you can eat for days. Leftovers are NOT a problem for me!
    Again thanks!

I like Mexican beef...put any cheap cut of beef (traditionally beef cheek) in the pot with a big bunch of cilantro, onion, garlic and tomatoes and cook all day on low. (Can add chipotle peppers as well) Serve with tortillas or rice.

My husband would like this and I'll make it for him sometime. I bet the addition of chipotle peppers makes this delicious. I like Mexican food but don't eat that much red meat.

When I see a beef dish that sounds good I just switch it out for ground turkey. I have a meat grinder for my Kitchen Aid to do chicken, but I hate cleaning it. lol I saw a chef the other day just grind it down in a food chopper. Just a few tricks to remember.
