Like Cool Breeze I did a simple thing with mine too. Pop in a pierced spaghetti squash with a cup of water and cook on low 4-5 hours. They are so hard to cut and this works perfectly.

I know what you mean about how hard they are to cut. This works great for sweet potatoes too and they seem to cook quicker than a regular potato in the crock pot which suprised me.

I haven't tried this recipe for mac & cheese in the crockpot but I am going to try it.

my favorite crock pot recipe is to put a chuck roast in the pot, (I have a 4qt pot and a 4 lb roast will fit tight, just stuff it in lol). Sprinkle an envelope of Liptons Onion soup mix on top. Put the lid on and cook on high about 6 hours or low 8-10. That's it, no water, or anything. Just roast and soup mix. I do trim off as much excess fat as I can from roast before cooking. Sometimes I will throw a few carrots on top at the end of 5 hours or so and let them kinda steam on top.
Just don't care for veggies cooked in with a roast.

    Hi

I made clotted cream in my slow cooker to day.
I used this tutorial. The voice is a bit slow but there are good directions.

It currently sits in my refrigerator and cools down. It is looking mighty fine.

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

This is soooo good! A co-worker brought it to work on a pot-luck day and it was just down-right yummy. I went home and made it with a sugar-free cake mix and sugar-free pudding. My family never knew about the sugar-free products and they loved it. Try it as soon as you can and you will be so happy you did.

I love spaghetti squash but don't cook it often because I have such a hard time cutting the darn thing. I'm going to try this!
