    Default Certification!

I just finished a longarm certification class! I am hooked; it was so much fun Only problem is they don't have a lot of open time available on Saturday's, which is really the only time I can go

Congratulations! I hope to do that someday when I can find a shop closer to me that has time to rent on a long-arm. If Saturdays are hard to schedule, maybe you will just have to schedule ahead. Do they have any evening hours available? Enjoy your net skill!

I have the same problem with not having time during the week to go due to this job that I happen to have. I'm taking vacation days one at a time, which is not really worth it because I normally only take an hour or two to quilt. Wish I could learn how to quilt on my sewing machine.

That is so awesome! I did that last month as well. I just LOVED, LOVED it! I have quilted four quilts since then.

They "opened" June's schedule for rentals, and I was able to snag a Saturday. And that was online and the June schedule was "opened" for 45 minutes. I took the last Saturday available. *whew* Craziness. But they only have 3 machines, so it rents up fast.

Find out when they open their schedule for rentals, and call first thing, or go online, etc., whatever it takes.
There are no perfect quilts, because I am a imperfect quilter.

They don't have evening hours and I did schedule ahead; the earliest they had available is Saturday, July 22nd

Unfortunately they don't "open" up the schedule, you just call and see what is available. At this rate, it will take me a year to get 4 quilts done LOL! I am excited about going back in July though (first Saturday I could get in) and do my first quilt
