I love that quilt! I've had it saved in Pinterest forever. I didn't know it came from Crafsty. Thanks!

I'm actually doing the quatrefoil quilt right now. Jenny'y tutorial calls for a layer cake, but you have so much left over, so since I have both LC and CP, I decided to use CP for the center square, and LC for the pieces surrounding it. Will likely use the border fabric for the cornerstones between blocks. This seemed like a better use of the fabrics, instead of putting so much of the LC in my stash.

How about Jenny's Square Dance quilt. There is a video tutorial and it is in Block. I just finished my squares for one and it goes together easily.

Oops! That one is for a jelly and charm.

You could use your charm packs to make a border like Caroline T. mentioned. Maybe use them to make HST's (or cut into four 2.5" squares, then make smaller HST's) and make a border like the one shown here starting with close up at 6:24 seconds:

My first thought re: cutting the layer cakes was don't do it -- embrace the integrity of the 10" print it has to offer! However, after looking at the large bold repetitive flower prints in the collection, I would tame them down a bit by turning them into a HST (by pairing with solid colors or prints of a smaller nature).

I've always loved Jenny's Alter Ego quilt!

    Good luck.

I love that pattern. I have some 30s reproduction prints that I'd love to do in something like that - but they are in a jelly roll!

Moda Bake Shop just posted a quilt that calls for layer cake and matching charm pack. Candy Swirls.

Karen C - I love the Quatrefoil idea! Might make the quilt a little bigger too! Does anyone know if this is in a BLOCK magazine?
