Just finished this last night! I had started the project last fall and had it sandwiched before our out of state moved in December. The new guild I joined this month had an Open Sew last Thursday and I got it quilted and the binding sewed on. All that is left is the label!

I finally finished cutting the pieces for my Granny Square Quilt... hoping to get to the sewing part this evening. I am battling a sore throat and ear infection. Got the antibiotics started so should be feeling better soon.

This crazy weather isn't helping one bit. Windy, snow flurries and cold... Did I say COLD....

I should have been FMQing my pile of tops, but all I felt like this weekend was some experimental free motion embroidery and then crochet (I haven't worked at any crochet project for the last 5 years, I think).

I lucked out with my cross stitch and got a section from one pattern inserted into another. This is tricky because the widths are different and so you need to get the "repeat" to land in different spots. So I'm feeling pretty darned happy with that. I might have to finish this off before I start the next monthly finishing group project...I think I only have a few nights of work left. Buying it partially completed on eBay was a godsend...
