Default Paper Doll quilt (pic heavy)

I made this for my great niece. First time doing major applique (still need to work on that), but the clothes were fun. Still adding to her wardrobe and plan to make a little bag to keep them in. Soll pattern was from an Etsy seller.

This is pretty incredible. Do the clothes come off like with Velcro or something?

Yes. There is velcro at the shoulders, waist and on the shoes. The directions were for velcro on each piece of clothing, but that was too labor intensive after doing the doll. I used medium weight pellon on the back of the clothes and did an overcast stitch around the edge. The pellon is like felt on the back and sticks to the velcro. I bought a variety pack of bows at craft store and did put velcro dots on them.

This is cute. My DD just sent me a link to one on Facebook for paperdollquilt.com , but they don't sell the pattern. Did you have a pattern for this or just wing it?
