Default fat quarter lap size quilts

Anyone know of some fast and easy lap size quilts to do with fat quarters? I just ordered 8 and was hoping for a pinwheel type lap quilt.
    Thanks

This isn't a pinwheel, but a nice fat quarter quilt. I just love it.

Here's one that takes 12, but I made it with 16, and didn't use a scrappy binding.

I like this one a lot. Simple, to the point and done in a zip. I've made that block and it's really quick.

Yes - I rather like that one. Decisions decisions? What to make?

FQs can be used for any quilt pattern. I use them all the time. I'm working on a Disappearing 9 Patch right now. They work well for the Turning Twenty patterns.
