It also says machine stitched. I guess it's in the marketing. I wish I would of counted my embroidery stitches on my children's clothing. lol I'm over it, it just kind of made me say huh?

Can we please all remember the Missouri Star forum motto "Be kind for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle"

Can we please support a fellow quilter and not judge.

I don't see how that motto has anything to do with this. But I do support him if he can actually get it.

I say good for him! If quilters would just stop selling themselves short, we could ALL get what our work is actually worth.

I think if I was paying $600-ish for a quilt I would not buy it online bc I would definitely want to see it/feel it in person first. It looks rather ordinary though.

Well, I'm all for it if they can get it.. The more they sell for on line, the more educated our buyers become and are willing to pay for our time. It is hard, but as l learned in sales, if you don't ask for it, you won't get it.

A while back, my youngest asked me to make his friend a quilt. After I made it I went online and found one made with the same focus fabric. It was $600 for a full size and the one I made was queen size. I showed it to my son and told him that if that quilt was worth $600 and I put more work into the piecing and quilting, then his friends quilt should be worth about a $1000. My son was really impressed. I wanted to make sure his friend knew to treat the quilt right.

I hope he gets what he's asking. He can always go down on the price.

Wow, I have to say I think that is overpriced for the size, the pattern and the quilting (all of which I LOVE by the way!). But if he can sell them at that price, more power to him!

Good for him if he can get it. That being said, he has only sold 1 other quilt on etsy. I may have to rethink making quilts to sell, lol
