I have a BOM from my local quilt guild that has me totally buffalo'd and another that I've started with fabric I bought while on the Bus Tour last year - wish I could say YES to you but I just can't at this time.

I only wish I were Rachel, I follow her blog, and have wanted to do her pinwheel sampler quilt and thought it might be fun to do as a BOM. I don't think we would get into trouble it is under her free tutorials and patterns. Deborah, BOM is a block of a month. you get the pattern and you have one month to do to it. at the end you should have enough blocks for a quilt with maybe sashings and borders added. it is just a way to do a quilt and we could post our pictures and give each other support AND OOHS AND AHHS over our fabric selections and blocks. some of the BOMs on webs are a block a week and some are VERY difficult to complete.

I'd love to do a BOM, I keep seeing them around and think they're lovely. Would anyone mind if I had a go at designing one?

I am new to quilting but I think this is a great idea to get me started. Not the pressure of bloc of the week and still have online help if I get stuck. And the experience with different block patterns. Hope someone picks this up and runs with it
