    Thanks everyone Usually I'm a bright color person and quilter so this is a new experience for me but loving so far!

    I think I settled on red, white & blue. Here are my first two blocks, not sure I am happy with block 2 but will leave it for now.

    I am enjoying making these blocks. Just hope I have enough fabric. I left off the applique of the basket for this weeks. It just didn't seem to go with the fabric I had selected.
    Not sure why the last picture is upside down.

    Nice looking blocks TMP. I think I'll leave off the basket as well. I don't think it goes with my fabric either. Thanks for the idea.

    I too am doing this challenge in my blue scraps. this wont let me download....says file too large? but I am technically challenged so dont know how to fix that so you can see. so far I have 4 of them done. I am liking it so far. and yes weekly keeps me on track

    I did not do the basket. I just "altered" the block a bit. I lost a few points, but I still love it.
