For some reason I can't seem to wrap my head around how to cut out those hearts for block #8. Help and suggestions welcomed.

I haven't done mine yet but I'm guessing you fold fabric in half, place the straight edge of the pattern on the fold, pin in place and cut. Kind of like a garment sewing pattern.

I have no idea how to do that...but I am thinking quiltsRfun is correct.

Here is my latest. Very happy. I have yet to do last weeks block. I just am struggling with it. I may add something later.

On a side note...I down sized this weeks block. Which is why is looks much smaller then some of the others.

Looking good, Magicquilts. I'm still trying to decide what to do with the last two bigger blocks.

I understand your issue. I struggled with last weeks block. I thought I had an idea, but as you can see that it's not in my "display". I am not sure what I will do with last weeks block.

I hope to see your blocks. Give it a whirl...maybe you will have an idea pop into your head with the pattern, color arrangement. Who knows...it could surprise you. Hang in there. I am sure something will come to you.

I'm probably going to be falling behind a bit. I'm working on a quilt for an auction for March 4.

We had a quilt club meeting yesterday, and I brought my block #8 pieces for them to help me with the applique.
It wasn't too terribly bad. I decided to add a little red heart in the center.
At least I have that behind me, and can start on block #9.
