Here are may latest blocks. I'm really going out of my comfort zone on this one. I like to plan and know what I'm going to do. I am learning some new things, so I am just going to roll with it and see how it all comes out.
Not sure if you are aware, but Pat did post the setting for this quilt. Have you seen it yet? Here is the link that shows the layouts.

There are two options. One is a simply layout....the other is different. I can't spell the word.

I might walk on the rebel side, and do a little of both. Loving your blocks.

I am all caught up! I hand embroidered a vintage sewing machine in the center block of bock #5, as I am sewing on my vintage machine!
I love the asymmetrical layout that Pat showed on the website, hope I have enough fabric!! The Riley Blake fat quarter bundle is out stock now, but luckily I was able to a few yards of several of the designs found on eBay.

Everyone's blocks look great, it is fun to see all the different fabric choices.

Since I'm doing 2 sets of blocks, maybe I'll try both layouts too.

I won't be doing this weeks block. I think I will branch out on my own.

I found this site that will provide a few different blocks that could "flow" better with my quilt.

    http://delawarequilts.com/BOMs/

It will offer some options for those larger blocks that Pat will do. It has given me a bit of hope for an alternative to those bigger blocks.

    Have a wonderful evening.

That's a cool site. I always wondered how the monkey wrench was made. It doesn't look as hard as I thought.

I thought so too. Who knows maybe some one will find a cool pattern and make a big quilt.

I am not participating but have been reading through and drooling over everyone's blocks. It is so fun seeing how different they all look, since you all are using the same patterns. Keep up the good work ladies! They all look great so far!

I did make this weeks block it is big. I am not sure if I will like it in the quilt or not. I think I am going to follow along with the weekly patterns. I may leave in the large blocks or make small ones and swap . Thank you, magicquilt for the link. I can see options to replace the large blocks. I so stink at appliqué and I hope this weeks was the last one.
