My goal is to make my loved ones a quilt....each of them. Also, I want to make stockings for Christmas, for next year!

My 2012 goal would be to finish quilting the Christmas quilt from several years ago. I have enough quilting done that I can use it but I really want to do more. However, that was also my 2011 goal. LOL I did do some quilting on it in 2011 but I am having a hard time deciding how I want to quilt it. I also get nervous when I quilt - so much time and money in a quilt I would hate to ruin it. Well, there is also the quilt for my daughter and more quilting on the quilt I made for church. Sew much to do - gotta run!

My first 2012 goal is to teach my best friend and her Mom (age 85) how to quilt. She has already purchased the fabric and the pattern. Now we just need to get started. She wanted to wait until after the holidays. I purchased fabric for her Mom (as a gift) and a very simple pattern. She is a little nervous, but I told her we would work on it together. Besides that, I have four quilts of my ownto start (already purchased material) and a whole stack of scraps that need to be cut into useable sizes. Just wish I could retire so I would have more time to "play".

my goal is to complete my list of quilts and not get sidetracked! I am alsoo going to focus on making at least a sample of every old english pattern i can find. Each county seemed to have a signature pattern and i would like to do something small towards preserving the english patterns

Oh my, I would love to get some of my kits done that have been waiting this past year due to helping other organization to make quilts for soldiers. I also am always sooooo eager to learn new techniques and tips. And I aim to learn more at my fmq and learn some more new motiffs......

Im new to quilting, and Im getting hooked real fast. Im almost finished with my first quilt, a large pin wheel style. I have two others Im planning right now, but I just read a bunch of forum stuff about t-shirt quilts, so now Im thinking of making one for my son. I just wish I had more time. I love this stuff.

Oh boy, so many projects, so little time.
I think 2012 is going to be a difficult year for me. Only because I am struggling to stay off this site, out of the store and forum.
I am hankering to put in another order for supplies from M*QC but my credit card might go into meltdown.
Be strong! Be strong! Oh, wait, I need supplies for the Craftsy BOM.
OK, that's #1 new project for 2012 to add to the five I already have in progress.
                  Woo hooo, here we go!
May your sorrows be patched and your joys be quilted

Congrats MRoy!! My goal for this year is to finish hand quilting a quilt that I have hand pieced (sometimes I wonder why I started hand piecing it)!! Also I plan on joining in a quilt challenge which I have bought fabric for from MSQC. I'm quite excited about the latter as I've never been part of a quilt challenge before. Happy New Year to everyone!

I plan on making quilts for my grandsons and my children...something keepsake worthy! I'd also like to make baby quilts to give to new mothers at the hospital, so they can have something to "swaddle" their newborns in.

I have done one quilt with stippling/free motion quilting and found that it is kind of fun. My goal is to get better at it so that I can try different designs and such.

This year I would like to actually finish a project and not make silly mistakes (like, oh, cutting my backing piece in half...oops!). I am new to quilting but I'm enjoying it so far and would really like to have a finished product
