Default My table runner won't lay flat

My dtr needed a table runner for her 110" table. Done. However, she called to say it won't lay flat! Hmmm. I ironed the edges... no go. It "ruffles" 5 times on each of the long sides. What to do?

If you "block" it it will stay flat. Here is one example of how to block a quilt.

You evidently stretched the sides a bit when putting the binding on.

Thanks for sharing this, I did not know about blocking a quilt.
