    Default Jelly roll race quilt

Just finished this jellyroll race quilt to match the tile on our fireplace. The light color strips are actually various shades of light gray with patterns. (I couldn't get the lighting quite right ) It went together really fast. I cut the strips in half so the color blocks would be shorter to correspond with the tile.

I'm new to quilting and this is the first jelly roll I've made. I was really surprised how quickly it was finished. My husband even commented on how quickly it was done. (Probably because I don't have a sewing room and I take over the dining room table to sew. HAHAHA)

Great work! It was clever of you to cut the strips shorter.

Oh I love it, especially how you show your mantle with the same black/white/gray features.
