Default It's a Wednesday kind of day

Good morning friends. Yesterday we had another beautiful day. I sure wish this weather would stay until Spring. I hate the cold and snow of winter.

I had a lovely day yesterday at Victoria's Quilts. Bonnie and I joined some ladies and had lunch out. Came home and needed a nap, so no sewing yesterday. I hate starting in the middle of the day.

I printed off some patterns for some placemats I would like to make my sister-in-law for Christmas. I also need to get the backing ready for mother-in-law's quilt. Better get my tail in gear.

This afternoon both Les and I have our flu shots.

    Have a great day everyone.
Blessed are the children of the piecemakers for they shall inherit the quilts!

    Good Morning,
It's going to be a nice Fall day. Yesterday I had my mammogram and today I woke up with a cold. I wish I could go to sleep and wake up after it's gone.

I'm working on nothing right now but I want to get the sewing room in order. It will take several days to accomplish this. I have a few new ideas for organization that should help. This is something I can work on a little at a time.

    Wishing everyone a wonderful day.

Have a good day all. Hugs!

is that quilt the cat quilt because of the cats walking on it or the material? Those cats better not ever get you mad when they are up there like that or they could become a cat quilt for real. Glad you have plenty of help.

Haha Laura I love these kitties to pieces and would never get mad at them. Cat quilt because it is a cat pattern and cats are the border. I have the center and one side border quilted working on the second side border.Click image for larger version.

Today has it's own to-do list.
I have a batch of gingerbread to roll, cut, and bake for my sister's birthday tomorrow.
Then I have two turkeys to cut in half for delivery today and tomorrow.
After all of that fun, I need to make a garbage can/bag for my sister's car, as that is what she wanted for her birthday.

I need to get all that off the list today, so I can go play for a few hours tomorrow morning with a few of the forum ladies at the sewing and quilting expo show in Puyallup! Whoo Hoo.
I shall throw another log in the wood stove and get on with it then. Make it a good day!
    Hugs, Cathy

Look! April had a leak in her sewing room. It must have just been a small one since only the cats got in ....
