Default A quilt from cloth dinner napkins

I am trying to figure out how to use my grandmothers cloth dinner napkins to make a quilted table runner. I have started by using interfacing... Ironing it to the back of each napkin. That's as far as I have gotten. I am worried because the fabric is cotton and polyester. Think it can be done?

Of course it can. Just decide on a pattern.

I am interested in what you decide to do. Please keep us posted. I have saved some antique linens, but have no idea what to do with them.

I use cloth dinner napkins all the time in my quilts. I have a lot that get ruined in the restaurant and I just can't throw them in the trash. Usually I do a simple pattern and use them as a back to a quilt.

Measure your squares to see how much fabric you have and what you can sub cut them into. Then you can get more help.

    Welcome to the forum!
