That would be very pretty Sherri!

You can also insert batting in the circle. Takes a little longer but looks nice. I blanket stitch around the center too.

I was thinking this would look great as a scrappy quilt.

I was actually she would have one in brighter colors. So I agree Sherri, that would be a good line to use.

I am going to try this with some scrap strips . It has so many seams to match ! I think it will be great for place mats.

Great idea, nice to use up those misc. leftover strips! I am also thinking of using today's DD with this one.

What if you varied the size of the strips?

                    Like alternate 1 1/2" with 2 1/2"?

Would offset the seams that way but would it look good?

I agree that today's DD would look great, but I've already made a 30's Dresden. I think I'll do mine in Civil War or French General.

I love the fall colors! So pretty. Would be good in any fabrics. Christmas would really be pretty. I have this on my list...

I'm working this one right now, started it last night ... I'm ready for my lattice.

Yep. So I bought the ruler along with todays DD. I may not use the roll for it, but I have found that rulers shown in a new tutorial, often sell out. So because I was up at 2am for work, I got the ruler so I'd have it when I need it.
