Need help to ID these cuts

    Hello,

I'm hoping someone can help to identify the quilt(s) these CUTS would be a part of.

My cousin purchased a bag containing approx 200 pcs from a re-sale shop. All pieces are stacked together perfectly. She says there are also smaller square pcs of a different material.

    Anxiously awaiting your reply!

IMO they look like scraps left over after running the fabric thru a die cutter. But would be interested in knowing if anyone else has any ideas.

I think this is the answer.

They look like a good size to cut into rectangles for a brick quilt. Are they all the same fabric?

If these are all perfectly stacked it could have been from a garment manufacturer who used what I think is called a so bar machine which can cut 12 or 15 inch thick layers of fabric easily.
Here is a video, at the beginning I see a sleeve being cut out easily.

Any idea what they measure? It's a lovely print. Large enough to cut 5" squares? 2 1/2"?

Re: Need help to ID these cuts

I bought some fabric pieces from a childrens clothing manufacture and there are random odds and ends and they are in stacks. S
ome I can identify as part of pants and some are sleeves and some are bodices but they are in neat little stacks. Much better than being wadded up in a sack. Anyway, every week or so, I grab a stack and cut layer cakes, charms or 2 1/2 inch strips because I know they will be easier to decide what to do with them that way . Some of them, I end up with 50-75 charms, others 20-25 layer cakes. Of course, they are all the same print. Well...I mean each stack is the same print.
Right now I am working on that ladybug qulilt that is only white and one print. It is pretty boring but its what my customer wants.

Thanks to all! I do believe the mystery is solved. Enjoyed the video as well.

The sizes: Smaller square is 4 1/2" each side, next is 5 " x 6 1/2", larger really odd piece is approx. 7 1/2" x 5". Which, as mentioned earlier by someone, should make pretty good charms and such.

                    Appreciate everyone's quick consideration.

What a deal! Those are really useable sizes. I hope she'll come join us too.
