    I'm a Kansan also. Which part of the state are you in? Seems we have a pretty good spread.

    Welcome from the UK!! I too have seen for many years but only started quilting a couple of years ago. It should carry a warning - it is addictive but oh what fun!!

    Welcome from another Kansan! I've made a list in my user notes with links to all Jenny's tutorials I want to do. That way it helps me remember which ones I like. I keep adding to the list so I'll probably never get through it!

    Just pick one and make it. They are like potato chips, you can't just make one. Believe me on this, I have made at least 5 new ones this spring, summer.

    Welcome from Canada. My husband's family are in Kansas, but it's a bit far and expensive to travel frequently. We do have have many reminders, with sunflower fabric table runners, pictures. Even the chipmunks help plant the seeds from our feeders, and we have an abundance of sunflowers in our garden. I have planned to go to MSQC as a side trip, next time we go to Kansas.

    Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.
