    Default Diamond Dash -RIO

I will call this the Diamond Dash -Rio as I made in less than 10 hours, with much less training than some of the Olympians. I used a Kaffee Fassett layer cake and yardage from my stash. It went together fast and was completed in 3 days of sewing during first few days of watching the Olympics.
Another one in the pile to quilt, when I get my nerve on the Sweet 16.

That turned out very nice! I have a UFO from Sochi that I worked on last week! Feels good to get to the point I did get to!

Looks great. A suggestion: use a Basic Scroll for the quilting pattern. You can learn how from Jamie Wallen's YT video. Some of those KF fabrics have circles & swirls in them. You can practice on a sample sandwich or a white board. The Basic Scroll or Swirl is one of favorite FMQ patterns. Once you get the hang of it, it's very easy & covers the space quickly.

Love it. The green sashing wonderfully ties everything together, and the wavy stripe you used in the border is brilliant.
