Default A question of label placement

Hi all. I am in the completion stage of a reversible quilt. One side is black, gold, red and blue. The other is fancier and is navy blue and gold with red and green. My labels are white .... I know it is supposed to go on the backside, but because it is reversible, I'm not sure were to put it because it doesn't really blend in anywhere. Here is my label, and my front and back.....suggestions?Click image for larger version.

P.s. This is a twin size xl, so there won't be an outer border on the blue and gold one. I had to down size it quite. Bit.

How big is the label you are making or having made for this quilt? It looks like this label is already on another quilt...? If it were me, I'd choose to put the label on the square in the lower right corner of the 'back', in the cream colored square. Pretty sides...? Pretty quilt with two sides? Pretty two-sided quilt...? Haha. Real pretty!

Pretty quilt! How the heck do you quilt a reversible one? I would put the label on the checkerboard side. Your label is really cute too

Personally I would not use that quilt label -- it contrasts too much with the quilt (even on the back). I would use a piece of coordinating fabric and fold into a triangle as in the video below which also has other ideas:

Another option is to sign the quilt with a permanent marker or embroider your name along the binding. You do need to be careful about placement of the embroidery on the binding so it shows when the binding is applied.

I love your label but not for this reversible quilt. Why not use a permanent marker and write your name on one moon, the date in another moon on the blue side. So much work, great job!

I have done what Claire has suggested. Use the alphabet on your sewing machine and type out the info. on the binding before you apply it to the quilt.

I, too, would put the label on a cream corner square.

For one of my quilts, which has a lot of brown and beige, I tea dyed the label to make it blend in better.
