    Default Mattie gets a quilt

Mattie has downs syndrome and has had 3 heart surgeries at the Shriners Childrens hospital. She is 13 years old. She came into my restaurant a weekago Saturday and had dinner with her parents. After they ate, she found the quilts for the raffle and auction. She became fascinated with the I spy quilt that Patt (quiltstyle) made and wanted to play. She sat for 45 minutes finding all the items in the squares. I sent the quilt home with her. Afterall, they were made for the benefit of the shriners children and I can make another one to replace this before October. This was the only quilt that made her so happy so thank you Patt.Click image for larger version.

Mattie must have been so happy with her quilt. Great picture.
