    Hi folks!
I'm new here and new to quilting, but have looked this project over and feel that I can do this with ease. But before I commit I want to be sure of what I am getting myself into. Can someone please explain how a "Swap" works and where is, how many are completed and what is done with the finished product (s)? I've looked over the instructions, and the fabric requirements and understand all of that. Thanks in advance!

answer to the what and how the swap works - each player will make equal number of blocks to players signed up by dec 30 in the required pattern and colorway. once your blocks are complete you will mail all of them along with postage paid return addressed envelope to the hostess (which is me) no later than feb 25th, 2012. after all packages have been recvd, i will swap the blocks and send back a set to you which includes one of each from each player clear as mud - right

Just to be sure while you are deciding on your fabrics, you will need BLACK polka dots on WHITE fabric and WHITE polka dots on BLACK fabric plus your colors with tone on tone prints in the same color family - which means blue on blue or green on green or yellow on yellow or purple on purple in a dark and in a light that work together for each block. the print can not include any other color. look at my test block - it is teals. any questions about your fabric choices plus post pics prior to cutting! yipppeeee!!

    Suzi,

Oh, "I see said the blind man!". No, jk, I do understand now, so everyone who participates will end up with one of each block and can make their own quilt. Right? Hmmmm, now I have to decide if I want a quilt made out of all of those colors??? Hmmmm.... will have to think on this one. The sample that is posted in the pic is really nice, BTW. Thanks for straightening me out....lol
