Default Daily Deal - Clover Iron

Today's daily deal is the Clover wedge iron

    https://www.missouriquiltco.com/shop/dailydeal

Does anyone have this iron? Do you like it? Or would I be better off getting this one?

Or would I only be happy if I splurge and get the Panasonic Cordless?

I'm looking for one for travel and retreats. I've never seen the Clover one before and wonder if if is a good iron.

    Thanks

I know I've been wanting to get one, but I participated in the first day of the grand re-opening sale on thursday, so...I guess I'll have to wait until it might be on sale again.......

I don't know anything about the Clover Wedge Iron, so can't help you there. (sorry)
BUT my all-time favorite iron is, of course, the Panasonic Cordless Iron since it is, well, CORDLESS. Yay!

It is also an awesome iron to take to retreats since it comes compact with its own case for easy traveling AND you don't have to wait for the iron to cool down to pack it up since the base it sits in is also the base it travels in.

Sorry, don't know anything about that one. I recently purchased a Smartek steam iron from J's when 50% off. I like this $8 iron better than one I paid $200 for. It is so light, but gets very hot.

Still planning on getting the Panasonic cordless one day though.

I saw that deal this morning and looked it up on Amazon. I decided against it. A fair share of reviews said it didn't get hot enough. It's only 80 watts.

Usually I'm good about checking reviews, for some reason didn't even think of it this morning. Must not be completely awake yet, lol. Anyway, thanks for the info. I think i'll wait and splurge on the Panasonic Cordless.

I have the Clover mini wedge iron and it gets very hot! The ironing surface on mine is only about two inches, mostly used for ironing pp blocks or when you have a block with 1/4 inch seams that you want to press open. It does not steam. This DD iron looks like something you would take to classes.

I have the Steam Fast Travel iron... and it does not get hot enough for me. I bought it at M* when I was up there in May for a retreat and I am very disappointed.

I was in the shops today and saw the one on the DD and almost bought it... but since I bought the one in May... I didn't. I was "Iron Shy" ...

I am just now seeing this as I have been gone all day, but I would splurge for the Panasonic. It comes with it's own carrying case which makes it perfect for travelling!!
