    Default Happy Laynee quilt...

This is a little quilt I worked up this week. It only took a couple of days. It's for my great niece I met last week when I traveled to my brothers funeral. She is his only grandchild.

I used 2 colored Charm packs and on and a half white Charm packs. I intended to do Jenny's "Snowball Four Patch" quilt. But decided the snowball block was to much white .... so I did a reverse snowball. I snowballed one corner of each of the white charms, and then sewed four together making the colorful center in each block.

It's a "Happy" quilt and my great niece is named Laynee. She's adorable!

Lovely quilt and beautiful child. I think she will be happy with the quilt. I always like to see bright colors in young children's quilts.

Pretty quilt and prettier little girl. So sad that your brother won't see her grow up.

Gloria, your great niece is so beautiful, as is your quilt! She will treasure this and always remember you for making it for her. What a treasure each of them is.
