    Default Baby quilt

    Hi you great quilters,
I bought two darling charm packs, thinking they would be enough for a baby crib. Now I can't decide which pattern to use and also if the two will be enough. Any tips on patterns? I was thinking about a disappearing pinwheel, what do you think?
    Thanks in advance!

The more cuts you make in a block, the smaller the finished quilt will be. Two charm packs sewn together will make right at a crib size Quilt if you add a small border. If you add in some background fabric then you could get a crib size in the disappearing pinwheel.

My favorite go to baby quilt is the X's and O's. Two charm packs is more than enough for a crib size quilt....actually 1 will make it with added borders.

Search free baby quilt patterns on the Internet.
They have plenty of great patterns available.

I recently saved a post where members shared lots of baby quilt suggestions. You might take a look although I don't know if they meet your criteria for 2 charms packs and crib size.

    Here's a Disappearing Nine-Patch Jenny did a tutorial on :

    Also, here's a Disappearing Four-Patch from Jenny too :

(this quilt takes 1 print charm pack & 1 solid charm pack )

What about making a "Love Notes" Quilt ? If you were to give this to someone as a shower gift, you could have people "Sign" the quilt too!

This Dandy Stars Quilt takes 3 charm packs and some yardage, but it's really cute

You could make this quilt ....Jenny made it with cuddle charms ....but a friend of mine made this same quilt using charms for a little boy that was cotton. IT turned out just as cute !

I love sashed pinwheels on a baby quilt. Also Jenny's big charm star Big Charm Star Quilt | Always Great, Always Free Quilting Tutorials could be adapted to 2 charm pack size. It's on my to make list.
