    Default Reversible binding?

Hi all! Has anyone ever made a reversible binding? I am making a blue and white quilt on one side and purple and green on the other... Would it be possible to make a binding that is 1..25" blue and 1.25" purple? Has anyone ever tried this? Thanks for all the great help I have received since joining !

It is possible but don't have the info at hand. I'm sure someone will chime in with the exact directions or a tutorial you can follow.

Maybe you can find a fabric with a blue and purple stripe and cut carefully. I am not precise enough to attempt this. Another idea could be a flange binding https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAQWwwAa2K0.

You know, one of the best ways to find out if something will work is to try it. You might make a binding that has like 8 inch strips of each fabric

wouldn't you just cut each strip the size you need with seam allowances and piece them together then press on the seam, proceed as normal. Similar to if your doing a flanged binding only one is not wider then the other.

This is the Tut for flange binding
