Post ? GARDENER'S.... HELP IF YOU CAN, PLEASE ♡

Can anyone tell me, WHAT is wrong with my Red Tip evergreen bush. .....And it may be attacking my beloved Azzelia bushes too.

They are established plant's, we're previously happy and healthy.
Hubby, noticed leaves falling off the Red Tips, I see some spots on remaining leaves. Also seeing brown patches in the foliage of the Azellias.

I'm baffled !!!! ........My Sweet Mom, was my green thumb advisor.
Now, these poor plans are left with me and I know some but I don't know This ONE.........ADVISE....desperately needed.
Thanks for taking a look at this.

    What they looked like before.

Take a leaf into your local greenhouse and they will tell you about a fungicide you can use in your area. Or you can just wing it and go to a big box like LOWES and buy a plant fungicide. They usually work just fine

Wow Lorie, you are an impressive researcher. As a plant lover I cringed when I saw your photo Bee and figured your shrubs are pretty much shot for this year. But now you know what to do if that's any comfort.

That is a good article. Maybe if you thin out the bush so air can circulate better, it might help, along with picking up every fallen diseased leaf and discarding them, and using the recommended spray.
I can't see anything wrong with the azalea; just looks like old spent blooms lying around.

Also check the ph of the soil. Both plants like a fairly acid soil.

I don't know, I have a Black Thumb, all plants in my care die sudden violent deaths. But your pictures are just excellent! Hope you can figure out out.

Great article - hope Bee can save her shrubs. I need to check out azaleas and ornamental pear tree. Just yesterday I told DH that the front yard foundation plantings were looking so good with azaleas starting to bloom and the pear tree with full green leaves.

It might be too late for fungicide treatment of the red tip. I'd take a pic to your local nursery for treatment suggestion.

Your azeleas looks fine. Clean off the dead leaves and give it some fertilizer. They like acid type foods. I use this one for our acid loving plants. Yes, the plants will recover better and be healthier in the future if you keep the soil at the correct pH level.
