If you make the single star wall hanging, it won't take long at all. Takes about 10-15 minutes to construct each block AFTER you cut the pieces.

I have one but I don't use it for bindings. Jean, I'm going to make the star with mine, too. I have some gorgeous Gradations fabric.

Jean, yes I bought it from M* because I HATE!!!! binding quilts. I recently took the Binding Star Quilt class and it's an awesome tool. You need to find yours and make friends again.

I ran into Susan at an AQS a couple years back. She grew up just a few miles from where we live. Her brother was at university the same time as my DH. She gave me a quick lesson on the binding tool then gave me a set for free. I really like it. I'd be better at using it if I used it more often I'm sure. But I love the way the binding comes out perfect every time. I've put extra markings on mine that help. Also have the YouTube bookmarked just in case.

Rats... I tried to use that silly thing, but it never did work fir me... I had to keep referring to the video, and would actually break into a sweat... It was just way too fiddle for me... .. So... I only use it as a template now.

Jenny did a terrific video...the Ultimate Binding Tutorial.... I finally learned a method that actually worked! And it works every time,,, thanks Jenny!

ID:	144601In the beginning, I had trouble getting this to work. Not one to give up, I persisted and then, an Ahha moment. I love it. I also used it to make a friendship braid quilt from a layer cake, not cutting the 10" length down to size.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

i have the binding tool. Still haven't figured out how to use it. To much figuring out. I'm glad they came out with another use for it. Cyndi, I watched the video and was surprised that it is the way I figured out how to do my binding. And I thought I was so clever!

Suzanne ~ Your blue quilt is beautiful. I really like it. My binding tool is mislaid somewhere in my sewing stuff. I haven't found it in a few mos. It will probably show up some day when I least expect it. I haven't needed it, because I don't use it for binding. I made one quilt with it.
