Default Any raw edge thread sketch appliqués here?

I have fallin in love with raw edge thread sketching appliqué! I do love Loopy Linnet's work, but there are many others I have seen that I like. For those that wanna know what it is, here are some examples. They are NOT mine. Although I plan on trying it!

Please share your works. We would love seeing them!

Wonderful art quilts! Thanks for sharing. I've been watching a lot of videos on the QNNTV website. In particular, the many videos from "Quilting Arts TV". It's fun to see quilting done in art form. In the back of my mind I keep hoping I'll find time to work on a landscape quilt of our house and yard. I'd like to frame it and hang it on a wall. It will take lots of concentration and will force me to drop those feed dogs and start painting with thread. Once I finish working on our yard I need to get out the camera to get started.
Goodbye Europe! Hello California! Home sweet home.

Yes, it is spring and the yard needs it's facelift. I fell behind on the yard this year, but I am caught up finally. I have an art quilt started. Matter of fact it is my avatar. I probably should finish it first.

I see there are different ways to do this technique. Although I have done fusible, I wanted something with a softer feel. Might have to try gluing the Applique. Anyone do this?

I guess this is too artsy and not really quilting for this site. Do any of you know of a forum that is art quilts or fiber art?
