Default Elnora's Flower Garden -- Quilt in Pieces

It always fascinates me that, as quilters, we take big pieces of perfectly good fabric, cut it up into little pieces, then sew them all back together. The (very small, barely existent) logical part of my brain says this makes no sense. But, oh! How I love the process! Yesterday, I sewed all of the background pieces to all of the foreground pieces, ending up with a bunch of 2-color strips in a variety of colors. Today I'll start sewing them together to make the individual blocks. Meanwhile, they're all laid out on my sewing table looking decorative.

If you can't see it from 50 yards away on a galloping horse, it doesn't matter.

I agree....sometimes the process is better than the completion! There is just something about the creating ......love each step
