    Default Two of a Kind

One of my co-workers, after nearly a decade of fertility treatments, got pregnant with twins. Having dealt with fertility issues myself, I was beyond happy for her. I found the cutest fabrics and set to work. These two little quilts fought me tooth and nail! They wouldn't go together right, I unpicked and re-pieced countless times. They sat in pieces on the corner of my quilting table for 4 months after they were born, until I finally just forced myself to finish them. And, of course, they were fine. This morning she sent me pictures of the babies on their quilts. What cuties!

If you can't see it from 50 yards away on a galloping horse, it doesn't matter.

I love it when the recipient sends photos like these. You may have struggled, Meli, but these quilts are awesome and well worth your struggles.

Well, they certainly are beautiful quilts and I love the colors. I'm glad you persevered and got them finished. Darling babies, too!

How sweet, both the quilts and the babies. What a blessing the babies are and your quilts are a blessing to them! Bless YOU.

Blessed are the children of the piecemakers for they shall inherit the quilts!
