is it just me or does anyone else sew in their barefeet. I mean on the machine footpedal?

I sew with my shoe off unless I'm wearing my moccasins. When I go to my guild's weekly sit-n-sew, I can be seen walking around wearing only one shoe.

I sew with my shoe off whenever possible. Sometimes it is to cold in the winter even with an extra pair of socks on, but otherwise it is shoe off sewing for me.

Moccasins. Bare feet collect dropped pins.

Bare feet or slipper socks in cold weather. I need the feel of the pedal. But I try to be very careful about pins because of the fur babies.

Yup! I sew in bare feet or socks in the winter. I have a hardwood floor in my sewing room so pins are easy to spot & I check for them regularly with a big magnet.

I tried to but iI always have to have shoes on! I feel funny pressing the pedal with bare feet, like driving my car with no shoes haha,

I read the title of this post, and thought "Where else but a quilting/sewing forum would someone read this title and know it was about sewing machine feet?" Then when I read the question, I laughed out loud!

I usually sew in my slippers. I have a hardwood floor and I tend to drop a lot of pins...and my foot would get cold!
