    Default Estate Sale Bargains

Today I went to an estate sale. I bought 2 wedge rulers, a couple of pieces of fabric, a walking foot (that seems to fit my machine) and a few needles. I'm pretty happy with my find especially the rulers. I have been wanting a triangle ruler........woohoo!

I hope this will help get me out of my "sewing slump". Guess what is still staring at me from my design wall................that's right..............my Grinch quilt!

I forgot to mention.......yesterday I found an ironing board cover, some decorative thread (similar to embroidery floss) and a small cutting mat to keep beside my sewing machine. That was from a different estate sale.

I really need to get on the ball!

Funny, I'm just getting back into quilting after a long absence. Started off finishing up some old quilt tops. This is my first quilt using the big wedge ruler. Now that the quilt is finished I have dusted off my wedge rulers because I think I'd like to make more of them. Found a ton of inspiration here. https://www.phillipsfiberart.com/

Trish and songbird........head down this way and we can go estate sale shopping together! That would be fun!

Barbed Wire......your quilt is gorgeous! It looks like it shimmers. I've never seen the link you posted...will check it out closer.

Lorie........I found the link you posted while I was looking for inspiration yesterday......after the estate sale........when I should have been sewing........but was having more fun looking for ideas for my new rulers.

I also found this link.......beautiful quilts!
