    Default New from North Carolina

Delighted to be here. I make mostly quilt tops for others in my guilds to finish as charity quilts mostly for children. I mostly target pre and adolescent boys since they are frequently overlooked in the appeal of more "girly" fabrics. I live on the Albemarle Sound in summers and the state capital in winter and commute randomly during the off seasons. I typically put together 100 or more tops every year for charity.

Welcome from NJ. We go to the Outer Banks every fall. Hardly any quilt shops in eastern NC though! Whatever do you do in the Summer- bring a lot of fabric with you?

Welcome to the forum from South Florida. Congratulations on your charity work - I so admire people who do this. Once I get to feeling better I want to find a charity to quilt for.
