Well, call me nearsighted or whatever but I think it looks splendiferous.

PS - your little helpers are absolutely adorable.

Great job Cyndi, and, no whatever your mistake is, it is not noticable! If us quilters can't seem to find it, no one else will either!

Loonwatcher wins the prize. Two squares that were supposed to be right in the middle are instead on opposite sides one row out. I didn't brighten the picture, maybe that's why you all couldn't see it! I stayed awake in the night (what a stupid thing to do!) and thought about it and decided, no ripping on this one, just quilting and binding and wrapping and giving.

Will and Jon will be 4 and 5 one right before Christmas and one the day after. They like to get up on my sewing table and "help" me. If I'm not doing a big quilt I let them. I just really have to watch what I'm doing between their questions: "Grammie, what is...." and "Grammie, do you know...." and of course "Grammie, can I do that?" I love my DGSs!

ps Thank you all for your two cents. I really do feel richer knowing all of you!

And even tho I Saw it I just took it as kind of poetic license! Great design and , it sure looks intentional to me, I'd love it if they decide that its just "not perfect for them" lol!!!!

Ok, where are the quilt police????
We have to get to the bottom of this right now.
Oh, that's right, there are no quilt police!
In that case, there is no case to answer Cyndi
I love the design and this is going to be a lovely gift. Great job!
May your sorrows be patched and your joys be quilted

I think it's fine. They won't notice. The fact that it's balanced makes it even less noticeable. I think you'll find the major consensus is go ahead and give it as is. Just don't point it out. One has a tendency to do that when bothered by these things.
