    Default First paper pieced quilt

This is the first paper pieced quilt I have done and I did all the FMQ on my 6600. It was a lot more fun then I thought since I have always avoided paper piecing. I am very happy with the end result and my FMQ is getting a tiny bit better.

Awesome! I love the "wave" design you FMQ'd. It fits your pattern well.

Nice quilt and you did a good job FMQ.
    I like the FMQ swirls.
    Interesting quilt pattern, too.
One day I may have the courage to do some paper piecing.

Very nice quilt... love the colors. PP makes for such crisp piecing! I have one in the making, but have to admit it tries my patience a bit... Actually i don't have much because i just love to sew and want to keep cranking out quilts.... you FMQ look very good... When people say practice, they mean it... as well i have good and bad days), but i'd rather have mine with a few wiggles in error and know i did the whole thing myself...))) Keep posting,, i love to see OPW (other people's work).. GB

Paper piecing is a new skill-to-be-learned for me, too. I made the Valentine's runner of Crafty Gemini and it was a kick! Who invented this mirror image quilting trick?

Lovely! Give yourself credit for the FMQ you chose. I like the effect with the quilt pattern.
