Wow - that's your first quilt?? It's beautiful! You did a great job.
This was suppose to be a block of the month, from Joann Fabrics, to see if I would like quilting. But TL, my husband, got involved because I needed help. Then it got exciting hunting down all of the blocks. Being in Alaska, we only have three stories that are within 75 miles from us. When we finally got everything together, it just kept growing. And don't look too close...some of the blocks are better than others. But it was a thrill. Linda Rice Weaver from Green Acres, WA long arm quilted it for us.
OMG that is so pretty!! You and your dh make a heck of a quilting tag team. Congratulations on finishing this one with your limited resources up there in Alaska. Thanks for sharing photos!!
That's AMAZING for your first quilt...did you do the quilting as well? NM about the quilting question, I noticed you answered it...what a GREAT job and project you took on as your first quilt though.
Wow, you really jump in with both feet - your husband too! I saw your picture and immediately said out loud, "I can't believe that is her first quilt". Awesome job and love the colors. What an accomplishment! Can't wait to see what you make next.
